Dj Gamegirl's Biography

Hailing from a rich musical lineage, DJ GameGirl found her rhythm early on, inspired by her father's multi-instrumental talents. Growing up immersed in the creative sanctuary of her dad's "Band room," she developed an innate passion for music, experimenting with various instruments and playing by ear.

In 2002, her journey as a DJ began with the purchase of her first set of Turntables. 

From the early days of exploring beats and rhythms, she quickly carved her niche as a pioneer in the male-dominated world of DJing. Fuelled by her passion for creating unforgettable experiences, DJ GameGirl seamlessly blends a variety of genres, captivating audiences with her unique cultural influenced sets.

Throughout her career, GameGirl has graced stages with her vibrant mixes, opening for and hosting afterparties for a plethora of artists. Her accolades include numerous nominations at Torontos Stylus awards, and recognition for Best Female DJ nationally from 2005-2009.

DJ GameGirl has been a staple at various events, contributing her talents to Black History Month celebrations, fundraising for the Stollery Children's Hospital, supporting the Louis Hole Foundation, and engaging with the community at various events and non-profit charities.
